About Us
Many Americans commonly use nutritional supplements as adjunct treatments for various medical conditions. Data shows the use is growing rapidly. For example, the 2012 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) Alternative Medicine Supplement showed that 17.7 percent of US adults had used natural products in the previous year, including herbs and other naturally occurring non-botanical supplements. Supplements have been shown to help various medical conditions including Type 2 diabetes, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and have other attributes such as anti-inflammatory and antioxidants properties.
Our Team
Dr. Vinay Kapoor is an endocrinologist involved in clinical practice, as well as teaching, for over 25 years. He is board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine, also previously board certified in adolescent medicine (until 2013) and geriatric medicine (until 2008). He is the director of Endocrinology at a teaching hospital in Queens, New York.
Dr. Kapoor was always intrigued by medicinal benefits from natural sources. Growing up in India, he learned a lot about the importance and benefits of various nutritional supplements. His interest resurged over the last few years which led to the formulations of BetaCell supplement products. All the supplements he formulated are based on scientific studies published in reputed medical journals. He is a strong believer in integrated medicine, combining modern and traditional medicine, for the maximal benefit for the patients.
